It was new in 1994. I bought it used at a estate sale in 1998. I use it mostly in the winter when the weather is not too good for walking and jogging outside. It still works fine. I can't fault it for the money I have in it. A basic machine which gives me a good workout. When it wears out I'll look for another brand/model, but till then I will use it as I have for the past 10 years.
