Bought brand new Trojan ismart 500 from Makro October 2017.

Loved my treadmill and used it almost daily for 2.5 years when I received E1 error code.

Phone Trojan only to hear the belt control panel is faulty and that they have discontinued the model and no longer keep the spares????


When I bought it Makro told me its their latest model.


How do they not keep spares 3 years later?


Will never buy Trojan again!

Must be very frustrating that they don't keep parts, especially given that you like the product.

The only recommendation i have is

1.) getting a local service engineer to take a look and make some recommendations. Not sure how practical this is in South Africa. (btw: Beautiful place)

2.) You could get a the latest from the same treadmill manufacturer. Typically, they keep the engineer the same, mostly change the electronics and software. If you like the prior version, you most certainly will have issues with their latest products from same engineering team.
