I had an issue with a metallic clicking noise whenever the unit is elevated and also was concerned about safety after Consumer Reports testing cracked the deck. After emails, lettters, and faxes, finally a phone call put me in touch with Pacemaster, and although they replaced the deck with a thicker one, the noise issues still persist and neither they, nor G&G fitness (owners of The Fitness Store) are willing to replace the unit or get it fixed to where it does not make these noises. A $2000.00 treadmill should not make strange noises when using it but both Aerobics, INC (Pacemaster) and G&G Fitness don't care about their customers and I would advise anyone else to spend their money elsewhere.
Check and compare Treadmills here before you buy any.
Check my pricing, ongoing promotions, manufacturer, mark and model, etc then make a decision.
