Mother board

I'm just trying to find out what a mother board for a treadmill is. Someone has one for sale but the say it needs new mother board.

I would steer clear of a treadmill that needs a new motherboard.

It's has the brain and all the controls, and has to match your model treadmill.

But that's not all. It won't run without a working motherboard, so how can you tell when you look at it whether there's anything else wrong?

Is the motor shot? Bearings worn? Overheats? Incline stuck?
