The Life Fitness 91Ti treadmill is similar to the Life Fitness 90T but with better electronics and workout programs.
And just like other models from this company, this one is also a bit overpriced.
This machine is perfect for health clubs that are on a tight budget. For a commercial model, this one is pretty affordable. However, always remember that you get what you pay for, so if a lot of people uses treadmills in your gym, don’t hesitate to buy top of the line Life Fitness. You’ll be better off in the long run.
As I’ve mentioned above, this machine comes with workout programs. It features cardio and fat burn workouts, random and hill interval workouts, and a Gerkin fitness test protocol to let users know more about their fitness level.
This treadmill comes with a 3.0 HP continuous DC motor that is capable of up to 10mph and 15% incline. These speed and elevation would be enough to give most (beginners and intermediate runners) of your users an intense workout.
The 20” x 60” running surface is the standard size of Life Fitness commercial treadmills. It is big enough to make users of all shapes and sizes feel comfortable during their workout. This pre-lubricated belt and wax-coated deck also comes with FlexDeck Shock Absorption System that has 8 large Lifespring™ shock absorbers to reduce stress on user’s joints while running and help prevent injuries.
The 15 x 7 rectangular dot matrix workout window with 18 character red LED alphanumeric display is another improvement from the basic version. It shows users their Elapsed Time, Speed, Distance, Incline, Calories, Heart Rate, Distance Climbed, and profile window so they’ll always know all important information regarding their exercise.
Other features include a reading rack for magazines, an accessory tray to hold sports bottles, overmolded tubular steel ergo bar to keep users balanced, and a Polar® Telemetry (chest strap required) and Lifepulse™ Digital Heart Rate Monitoring with DSP (Digital Signal Processing) for a better heart rate workout.
Like most Life Fitness, this model’s biggest weakness that it is overpriced. When you’re buying a Life Fitness treadmill, expect it to cost more because you are paying for the brand name rather than the product.
To conclude, I would recommend the Life Fitness 91Ti treadmill because of its name. But if you want value, I suggest you check out other commercial brands like Landice and Precor, or you can just visit our best treadmill page.
