The Image 16.0 Q treadmill is for people who are on a tight budget but would still want a big treadmill.
It is currently sold for less than $500. But like most Image treadmills, this one also comes with poor quality. So if you plan on buying one, be sure to put aside some money for future repairs and maintenance.
Due to its poor quality, I don’t recommend running on this treadmill. This treadmill is best used only for walking. So if you are recreational walker, then this model is a good option.
This machine is also targeted to people with low budgets. But if you have the money, don’t settle for this unit. I suggest you buy a treadmill in the $1,500 or above price range. However, if all you can really afford is a treadmill below $1,000, then I recommend the Smooth 5.15P treadmill. It is currently our best buy entry level treadmill.
The Image 16.0 Q treadmill offers a 2.5HP motor (not continuous duty) which reaches speeds of up to 10 mph. It is also inclinable for up to 10%. All these allow you to modify the intensity of your workout depending on your fitness level.
The 54"L x 19"W treadbelt makes sure that there is enough room for you to move comfortably during your workouts. And like most Image treadmills, I don’t think the motor is powerful enough to handle the machine because the bigger the treadbelt the harder the motor would have to work.
There are 5 pre-programmed workout options available for you to choose from. Each of them built to challenge your body differently. Or you can just use the Precision Response grip pulse sensors, which track your pulse, and workout in your target heart rate zone to burn more fats.
With features like these, and for the price they charge, you would probably be impressed. But all of these would be useless if the treadmill is not working. And this treadmill is known for often being just that.
This treadmill needs to improve its quality for it to really be noticed by experts. The short 90-day warranty alone proves this treadmill’s poor quality.
I do not recommend the Image 16.0 Q treadmill for its lack of quality. If you have one, start saving money for future repairs or replacement. This treadmill won’t be useful for very long.
