I bought a HealthRider H95T in July of 2010. I am a marathoner and wanted an indoor option for training. Since purchasing in July, I have had to call customer service twice for a nonoperable treadmill. It worked great for 3 months and then within 3 weeks of being "fixed" the first time, had exact same issue...belt becomes very jerky and unstable and makes a grinding noise. Definitely plan on waiting 2-3 weeks from time of initiating service call to actually hearing from techs and getting it repaired. What's really frustrating is this particular model has training options of half and full marathon distances so you would think the machine would be built sturdy enough to handle repeated long runs. Guess it's back to the freezing outside and 11th of a mile indoor tracks for training.

I have owned a HealthRider for approx. 13 years now. I have never had a problem with this treadmill. The only negative would be increased adjustment of the carpet like belt during top 10 m.p.h. runs. However, the unit has been very comfortable and sturdy. The fold up design is also helpful keeping family members from tripping over the runway. Well built for an early 1990's production.

I have a HealthRider treadmill that I purchased back in 1995 and it still is better than some of the new treadmills I see today. It is very functional and it allows me to create several different workout programs or use one of the four pre-programmed workouts. The deck is solid with a cushioned mat instead of the usual hard-rubber mats that you see in most treadmill designs. I would highly recommend a HealthRider treadmill to anyone who is considering this type of fitness equipment purchase. It is durable, quiet and has functionality to keep workouts interesting and varied.

Bought Healthrider H120t. Became inoperable after only 4 months of use. Customer service impossible to get through to. I guess the old adage is true. You get what you pay for.

My husband had a massive stroke in 1990 (20 years ago) The Dr. suggested he get a tredmill to exercise. I found a used HealthRider, that had been refurbished. He started at only 5 to 10 minutes a day, until he reached a minimum of 1 hour evey day. Many times he goes 2 hours, as he is watching a movie. The belt had now worn out and needs a new one and we don't know the Model number, so are having problems getting one. But 20 years at an hour a day on a machine that was used, I feel is we would buy another HealthRider and would recommed it to others.

Worked great for 5 years, motor started smoking, costs more to repair ($500) than to invest in a new one.
