The Evo 2 treadmill is a large treadmill with a huge running surface.

This is actually the second biggest treadmill from Evo so expect it to be very stable when in use.

Is This Your Best Buy Treadmill?

If you’re looking for a treadmill with a spacious running deck and has a very solid feel, then this is the model for you. With heavy weight and big frame, this treadmill can surely take a pounding. And, as expected, it also features the motion control which makes this a very good fit to hardcore runner

Features and benefits

As I’ve mentioned above, this treadmill comes with motion control. This feature lets you adjust the speed of your run by waving your hand over light sensors on the handrail. This is perfect for hardcore runners who usually runs on a fast pace as it won’t require you to uncomfortably lean and reach forward while in motion, just to change your speed.

The Evo 2 treadmill boasts a 3.0HP continuous duty motor which is one of the bigger drive motors in the Evo lineup. It has a max speed of 10mph and comes with 15 levels of incline so both beginners and advance runners can have an intense workout.

This machine’s 20” x 62” running surface is pretty impressive considering its price tag. This extra long tread belt is perfect for tall individuals who usually require longer strides. Not only that, you’ll also get the Swing Arm frame cushioning system which reduces harmful impact on your joints, ankle and knees thus, minimizing injuries.

The 4 preset programs, 1/4 mile running track, wireless heart rate control as well as the Quickstart and Manual modes give you variety and flexibility in your exercise. And with the 8 workout courses, it doesn’t matter whether you’re a beginner or advance runner, these courses will surely give you an effective workout.

The extra large 3" LED console simultaneously (No toggling required) shows your speed, distance, time, pace, calories burned, and pulse rate so you can always keep track of your progress.

Other features include non-slip large 2.5” rollers to extend the life of the belt, deck and roller bearings, a textured whisper weave 2-ply belt to minimize noise, an accessory rack to conveniently put your water or sports bottles, and dual motor fans to keep both the drive motor and electronics cool hence extending their lives.

And finally, this treadmill comes with excellent warranties. All parts are covered for a lifetime including the frame, electronics and wear parts. While labor/service charges is free for up to 1 year from the date of purchase.

Weakness

Just like other premium priced Evos, this one is also a bit overpriced considering what it offers. Also, although listed price already includes shipping, you would be charged extra for the indoor delivery and set-up. And since this machine is quite heavy and does require some assembly, you might be forced to pay this extra.

Recommendation

To conclude, I don’t recommend the Evo 2 treadmill. It doesn’t provide much value for the price it’s asking. If you really want a treadmill with motion control, I suggest you visit our Evo FX40HR treadmill review. It is currently Evo’s best treadmill in terms of value.
