Life Fitness ST55

by Runner

I have had this treadmill since 2004 and I am still using it today. I bought this unit from a local fitness equipment shop no longer in business. Spent over $1000 on unit and floor mat plus delivery. I do not regret it at all in fact; I am running longer and farther then ever. It has never needed any service or created technical problems. But due to wear and tear the up speed button that is made of plastic broke. I taped over it so no moisture would seep into the circuit and display, the button still works. The only negative on is the fact that time limit on the display goes to 99 mins. This is a problem now because sometimes I enjoy a long run. I would definitely buy this treadmill again if I had not out grown it. It made me a better runner. It is durable, simple, and well built, but no bells and whistles. Life Fitness quality! (made in china).

Concourse model 21-7100A

by Jeff Olstad
(Merritt, BC)

I'm a big fan of Cesar Millan. He recommends using a treadmill for high energy dogs. I just wanted a cheap beater machine. I went on a free ad site and found a Concourse model 21-7100A. I didn't know anything about them, but the unit seemed to work fine. I brought it home. It is very smooth and quiet. It goes to about 17kph, (10mph)that is a very fast run. It has a computer that does the usual things. The speed goes from (.5 mph) to (10mph) I don't know how old it is. I can't find one like it online. The closest was a less powerful unit that was selling for $500.00. The ad said new they were $1000.00.

Conclusion: I think it is a very good machine. It seems to hold it's value. If you can find a deal on one it should serve you well.

Keysfitness Alliance A7T Fold up Treadmill

by ART JIMENEZ III
(Chicago, IL USA)

I am very disappointed that Keys fitness no longer supports this piece of fitness equipment. It is a decent treadmill in the beginning but it had it share of problems. So much for it being made in the USA (In Garland, Texas). The parts we're not all U.S. made. The lower board was Made in Korea. When I first got the unit it had a loud noisy sound. Keys sent a treadmill tech to troubleshoot it and it was gone. He unscrewed a plastic piece that was rubbing against the walking belt. I also had to spend on replacing the motor in 2009 next to another company which was called "Maverick Service Assembly" to provide parts such as the lower and upper circuit board. They could not even troubleshoot my problem over the phone from the description of the motor slipping after 10 to 15 minutes running on the unit. I now have the problem of running without setting the incline to 3% because the rubber bushings originally broke next to the rubber bumper cones wearing done. I am afraid that if I run with that it is going to rub on the plastic hood which will ruin the motor again. Next to replacing the walking belt and deck. I hate you Keysfitness.

True Treadmill 500 SE

by David
(Austin, Texas)

This has been a great treadmill and I've been totally satisfied with it, but we recently moved it, and had to disconnect the pedestal from the base to make the move. When we put it back together, the elevation now works in reverse. When the treadmill is powered on, the deck elevates to maximum position rather than lowering as it is supposed to do. Once it is in use, the up buttion lowers the deck and the down button raises the deck. I have to think this is some kind of reassembly problem but there aren't many ways to screw that up. I took it apart and reassembled with the same result. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

DP/Fit for Life Lifestryder 3325

There's really nothing good to say when the operational key is not inserted and yet it powers on and injures severely the hand and fingers of a 4 year old by catching his pajamas and pulling his little arm under the rolling belt that has engaged without proper safety features intact. Do not know if this model has been discontinued but can not bring up any info on unit of any kind.

Trimline 3600.1

by Wm. b
(lincoln, ne usa)

I purchased local in 1999. Used fairly regularly for the last 8 years. I had the drive belt changed $50. Now the
overload breaker shuts it down at 7.5-8 mph after about 2 min. The retailer service tech said, no parts available, needs belt and a deck. Online I found both for a $400. Now I have a gamble, buy parts or buy a new machine.

This is a great reasonably priced treadmill.

What year(s) was this model made?
