Just like Trimline‘s T305 model, the Trimline T315 treadmill is also considered as a basic treadmill.

But when compared, you’ll notice that the T315 model has an upgraded motor and improved electronics. And, unlike the $100 cheaper T305, this macine comes with built-in workouts.

Features and Benefits

Although this machine is being manufactured in Taiwan, Trimline still continues to offer the same 30 year motor drive warranty that is being offered to its U.S. built treadmills. Simply showing how much the company is behind its products.

The Trimline T315 treadmill gives you a 2.0HP continuous duty motor. This is better than the 1.5HP continuous duty motor the T305 offers, but still below what top treadmills in this price range offer.

The Trimline T315 treadmill has a 10mph maximum speed and a 12% maximum elevation so you can workout with intensity no matter what fitness level you're in.

The 18" x 49" phenolic 2 ply treadbelt comes with Airstep deck cushioning and Softdrop deck lowering technology. They work together to lower impact and reduce stress on joints to avoid injuries.

With the Grip Heart Rate feature, you can easily workout in your target heart rate zone. You simply grip the handrail for instant, accurate heart rate data, resulting in a more effective workout.

The 8 x 20 dot matrix visually displays course profiles so you can prepare for upcoming hills and other challenges. While the 9/16" LED display provides feedback on time, speed, distance, incline, calories, and heart rate so you can easily monitor and adjust your workouts.

Finally, as one would expect, this treadmill comes with great warranties. It has a 30 year motor warranty, 30 year frame warranty, 2 year parts warranty, and one year labor warranty.

What it Lacks?

It’s true that buying this treadmill would make more sense than buying the T305 model, but its features and specifications are still below average.

Recommendation

I wouldn’t recommend the Trimline T315 treadmill. Although it has one of the best warranties in any price range, I still think that there are other comparable treadmills out there that will give you more value for your money. See our best buy treadmills page.
